Addiction
I'm not surprised by this. It seems everytime I turn on the T.V. there's Celebrity poker, world poker championship, American Casino etc. playing. Gambling has become acceptable, that is a fact. The "why" is the only question at this point. I believe that the state lotteries have alot to do with it, but hollywood making gambling look cool with movies like "Rounders" have also contributed to the fantasy.
